This week we have been visited by some people from a national TV program (Zoom Net: http://www.rtve.es/television/trasla2/zoom-net ) that talks about technology and videogames.
They had the opportunity of having a Zed Games Office Tour
and knowing at first hand all about our latest iPhone games, Bubble Boom (http://games.zed.com/BubbleBoom ) & Carnival Hammer (http://games.zed.com/carnival-hammer ).
Furthermore they could attend to a Bacterium demo meeting (our next iPhone release) in which project we are now working in.
Zoom Net interviewed some Zed Games Dpt. People, beginning with Jorge Barroso, one of our most experimented programmers who told them about the technology in videogame development and the differences between Java mobile and iPhone programming.
They also shared a moment with Manuel Sánchez (QA-testing Team) talking about all the quality assurance steps to release an iPhone game and with our Design Team Leader Francisco Martínez who explained the advantages and disadvantages of designing an iPhone game using all its new features (touch screen, accelerometer…)
Alberto Jorge (Community Manager) spoke about the different steps for creating a game in Zed, using an agile method named SCRUM and all the platforms and languages (mobile, PC, online, Flash…) used in a game development. And finally Juan Carlos Gonzálvez (Zed Games Managing Director) explained Zed Games business vision.
At the end of each interview we were asked to play Carnival Hammer and to test our strength … guess who won?
If you live in Spain you can enjoy the program next April 20th after “La 2 Noticias” (TVE2); International users will have it available online at http://www.rtve.es/mediateca/videos. Anyway we will try to upload our interviews into our Zed Games You Tube Channel: http://www.youtube.com/zedGAMES
Last but not least, I would like to thank all Zed Games Team and other company people involved for their help and support.
Kind Regards.
